This gun never worked. After numerous adjustments in air pressure, etc, the gun simply would not drive the staples more than half way in. SterlingTek offered to replace it but after sending it in, they referred me back to the 7 day return policy and refused to replace the gun since I was passed the 7 days - even though I stated that when I first contacted them. Disappointing.

From their website... "and if anything breaks under normal use within the first year, just send it back and we will replace it for FREE". I guess taking it out of the case for the first time isn't considered normal use?

I am a Licensed Construction Superviser running a Home Improvement Company in Foxboro,Ma. Tools are my living so I was skeptical in purchasing this product from an unknown source. I quickly discovered that my choice was a solid one. This 2 in 1 nailer allows for staples or nails and has multiple plates for different flooring applications. I used it for 3/4"x 2-1/4" oak hardwood in a large kitchen. It ran smoothly without a single misfire during the complete install.
Purchase this product without hesitation! This is a heavy duty, solidly built tool.
At 50% the cost and 100% of the value of big-named brands, it's a no-braining.

Floor nailer arrived fast, worked better than expected. My first experience installing hardwood floors, and the order process, low price and good quality of the nailer made it so much easier to do. It was cheaper to buy this nailer through Amazon than to rent one through the local equipment rental shop. Overall a perfect ordering experience. I should have written this review long ago but, hey, I was installing hardwood floors.
