We have only had this carseat for about a month, but so far it has been great. The color and fabric are both very nice, and it is easy to install, in my opinion. The book of directions, etc. seems long, and makes it seem more complicated than it is, but I appreciate how thorough it is in describing exactly how to install it in different makes of vehicles, with different types of seat belts, etc. Once you have done it once, it is a snap. I like the tether at the top to, but even without the top tether, once I got it installed with the latch system, it did not move at all - very solid. My 15 month son really likes it, especially switching from the rear-facing bucket seat he was in. He is about 23 lbs, and fits very well, forward facing. I have not taken the cover off to wash it yet, but it seems easy to do, and it has been easy to clean. I like the velcro on the sides to hold the straps out too. All in all, I've been very pleased with my purchase, and I feel good knowing that it is rated one of the safest seats out there. Also, I looked at this seat on the Britax website, and the colors shown there are not accurate (I almost didn't buy this color, because the Britax website picture wasn't to my liking) - Amazon has much better, more accurate pictures.

Impressive design, really. Some products leave you wishing they had polished off the edges. But that costs extra money, and most businesses choose not to. But this Britax seat is elegantly and thoroughly designed.

Multiple seat angles, front and rear facing, FAA approved, aluminum frame, anchors on the front AND back for stability, short-distance caddie accessory option, built-in baggies to hold excess strap lengths, and even velcro on the straps to attach it to the side of the seat to make it easy to move the child in and out of the seat without having to dig for the strap harness. And it's so light! And super soft! Other competitors backing is just a hard surface with a very thin foam pad for the child's back. Britax's backing is very plush and comfortable. I'm 100% sold on this design. Comparing the different brands in the store was hard, but friends said to go with Britax so we did. Now that we've used it, we know right away all the ways it outperforms competitor designs.

Absolutely a no-regrets purchase.
